Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product and application trials on processing machines such as Extruder, Blown Film, and Injection Moulding machines for New Product Development.
  • Prepare detailed testing and trial reports for additives and polymer products.
  • Support in data analysis based on observations.
  • Conduct performance testing for commercial and development samples under the supervision of reporting head.
  • Maintain proper inventory of raw materials, additives, and trial samples.
  • Plan material requirements based on ongoing projects and trials.
  • Maintaining and calibrating laboratory and processing machines properly.
  • Follow safety and quality procedures during machine operation and testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Conducting trials for polymer processing and plastic additives with a good knowledge of extrusion, blown film, and injection moulding processing operations.
  • Ability to plan and execute trials under the guidance of reporting head.
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge of laboratory and processing equipment.
  • Good observation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of testing equipment such as MFI, Izod Impact Tester, Tensile Testing Machine, etc.
  • Good knowledge of thermoplastic polymers and engineering plastics.
