Antiripening Additives extends the shelf & transit life of fruits, vegetables & flowers at ambient temperatures. Ripening is a natural process where fruits and vegetables undergo changes in color, flavor, and texture as they mature. Ethylene gas, a plant hormone, drives this process but can also cause spoilage and deterioration, leading to significant losses during transportation and storage. Traditional methods like temperature control, modified atmosphere packaging, and chemical treatments are used to minimize these losses. Anti-ripening additives in polymers play a crucial role in extending the shelf life of fresh produce. They create a barrier against ethylene gas, reducing its exposure to fruits and vegetables and slowing down ripening. This results in improved product quality and reduced losses throughout the supply chain. It can be used for packaging applications like films, shrink films, bags, trays, crates, punnets, containers etc. It maintains the freshness of foodstuffs & helps control spoilage at both low & ambient temperature conditions.
Go Fresh Additive is compatible with all Polyolefins, PBT, PET, PS and is available in powder form. Recommended dosage of Go Fresh is 3000-6000 ppm in end application.
