Alkaline Booster is a mixture of inorganic minerals which provides alkalinity to drinking water. It is available as a media as well as ready-to-use cartridge.
Where is it used?
It is used in gravity & online water filter systems. It can also be used as a pH enhancer, post RO systems.
How does it work?
Alkalinity is a measure of water’s ability to neutralize acids or resist changes that cause acidity, maintaining a stable pH. The ions of inorganic minerals like calcium & magnesium from the media are released in water slowly in a controlled manner. These ions raise the pH of water by 0.5 to 1 mark. This makes the water alkaline up to 8.5 pH. This is an advantage, as alkaline water molecules are smaller than acidic ones. That means alkaline water molecules are easier for the body to absorb.
