Testing and Certification –
Description –
ResiCor 008 Additive is used to prevent corrosion of Mild steel (MS) components. It is a liquid, based on mixture of amines, but not secondary amines. It is added in the packaging films during manufacturing in recommended doses. The actives vaporize slowly from the packaging to fill in the headspace between the film and metal surface. The vapors neutralize the surface acids. This prevents the contact of air and moisture with metal surface to impart protection. Actives diffuses into air after opening the package. Thus, extra step of metal cleaning during use is not required.
