Sunburn is not actually caused by heat from the sun, but rather the radiation that the sun produces. The sun releases ultraviolet (UV) radiation in two different wavelengths, and each is harmful in different ways. These wavelengths are called UVA and UVB. UV radiation has shorter wavelengths than visible light, so our eyes cannot see it but our skin can feel it.
UVA is a longer wavelength having a spectrum of 320 to 400 nm. It penetrates deep into the skin and causes cellular damage. This exposure often leads to
premature ageing, skin discoloration and wrinkles. UVB is shorter, and damages the surface of the skin.
Thus, protecting the skin from UVA is vital & this is achieved by Sunscreens.
ZC THRU MCT stops the UVA photons before they can reach the skin and inflict damage. It contains inorganic actives that scatter and reflect the UVA radiations. ZC Thru MCT block a significant amount of the UVA photons.
