International Women’s Day, observed annually on March 8th, is a global celebration that honours the achievements and contributions of women throughout history while advocating for gender equality and women’s rights. This day serves as a reminder of the progress that has been made in the fight for women’s empowerment and highlights the ongoing challenges that still need to be addressed. Every year NICHEM organises various activities for their women staff. The ratio of women in total strength of NICHEM is approximately 40%. This year, the second session of Women’s Development Cell as well as Women’s Day was jointly conducted by having an insightful session by Ms. Amrita Behel on Health and Nutrition. She threw some light on how to prioritize our health and nutrition along with our day-to-day lives.
